The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) opened an exhibition on 20th-century treasures at the National Museum of China on Thursday.
The exhibition, on display until September 1, features 123 pieces of jewelry designed by mid-20th-century artist-jeweler Jean Schlumberger.
Meanwhile, the National Museum of China has selected 11 pieces of ancient Chinese cultural relics to join the U.S. treasures on display.
