NAO, the humanoid robots used in the games were equipped with up to 25 actuated joints. In its head, two cameras were integrated for perceiving the environment. In its chest, sonar sensors were used to measure distances. Extra sensors were built in the robots’ feet to measure ground contact and the contact with the ball. /Chinanews Photo
