Tsaritsyno is not only a monument of architecture but also a gorgeous landscape park. It reflects the personal tastes of Russian Empress Catherine the Great and the charm of the 18th century, with its passion for illusions and interplay of architectural forms. Tsaritsyno's Middle Pond has an animated fountain, the largest in Moscow, which operates in the summertime.
