Three people were slightly wounded after massive explosions rocked a university campus library before a fire broke out in Lyon, France, on Thursday, according to local media.
Several blasts were heard at around 9:00 a.m. local time (0800 GMT) on the roof terrace of a building at the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University, where some construction operations were ongoing.

The university urged students to avoid the area shortly after the incident, and claimed that it caused no chemical safety concerns.
Preliminary findings indicated that the explosions were caused by the burning of several gas cylinders stored on the rooftop.
This accident came days after a blast hit a bakery in Paris which claimed four lives and injured several others.
