Chirping birds, slight sunlight passing through the leaves, the rustling of foliage and groups of tourists occasionally catching a glimpse of wild squirrels jumping in the woods, welcome to the Beijing Park located in the heart of Shenyang city, northeast China's Liaoning Province.   

Cute, shy and skittish, yes, this heavenly beauty is home to several little squirrels but you could be worthy of their friendship if you're willing to offer something in return. Food is something they never reject.   

Indeed, the way to a squirrel's heart is also through its stomach. These tiny creatures were pictured last month, sprinting towards the ground to grab some peanuts and melon seeds. 

While enjoying their favorite snack, it seems the squirrels don't mind shutterbugs clicking a picture or two.
