1 / 6   When referring to south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, spectacular landscapes and charming natural scenery are the first things that spring to the mind. But the picturesque view is not the only trump card Guangxi and its capital city Nanning hold. Nanning is also a paradise for Gourmets. Nanning hosts the annual China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and we've picked some of the most delicious local delicacies that you shouldn't miss when travelling to this food heaven. /VCG Photo

As a signature dish of Guangxi, you can enjoy a bowl of 'Luosifen' at almost every roadside stall in the region. /VCG Photo

3 / 6   If you want to try some appetizers in Guangxi, Wuzhou paper-wrapped chicken is a good choice. To cook the dish, the chicken will be first chopped into pieces and soaked in sauces for several hours. Then the well-seasoned chicken will be wrapped in Yukou paper, a special local paper made from bamboo and fried in peanut oil. This dish has a long history and it is listed as Guangxi's intangible cultural heritage in 2016. /VCG Photo

Lemon duck is a specialty delicacy of Zhuang ethnic minority. Fried with pepper and preserved lemon, it has a strong chili flavor and a refreshing lemon aroma. /VCG Photo

Though named "Oil Tea", it has nothing to do with the normal tea beverage. It is actually a caffeinated soup mixed with tea leaves, rice, ginger and peanuts./VCG Photo
