Georgia's first vice prime minister and minister of finance talked about the CIIE.
"The China International Import Expo is the Chinese government's initiative that aims at improving the trade and balance in the region. We believe CIIE will serve as a powerful tool for trade facilitation, which will automatically result in increasing global trade in the one of the fastest-growing consumer markets in the world. "
Dalia Grybauskaite, the president of Lithuania, said, "We strongly believe openness, what we are hearing today from the Chinese side both from trade and investment, is an absolutely necessary element from global growth. It's not only trade security, but also for social security and all other security. So, that's why we are very happy to join efforts to security and expand and open the global economy."
"China matters to the EU, and the EU matters to China. So, let's further deepen our partnership, strengthen the global trade system together," said Didier Reynders, Belgian vice prime minister and minister of finance.
