A residential building collapsed in Nanchang, the capital city of east China's Jiangxi Province, on Sunday morning, trapping residents, according to local officials.

According to the local fire department, the incident happened at around 8:00 a.m. BJT (0000 GMT) in Xihu district in Nanchang. The building has three floors and was made of bricks and wood. The second and the third floors had collapsed, where there were three households.
As of 1:53 p.m. BJT (0553 GMT), all four people trapped under the ruins have been rescued, including a senior, two adults and one child.
