CBA roundup: Yi Jianlian takes over as Guangdong tops Sichuan for third straight win

Yi Jianlian scored 30 points to gift Guangdong a 138-111 win over Sichuan in the Chinese Basketball Association league (CBA) on Friday night.
Yi dominated on both offense and defense end as he also collected a team-high 12 rebounds.
Guangdong started the game with a 4-0 run before Sichuan's 6-0 counter-attack. Yi stood out to lead the home team a 12-0 run and Guangzhou led the game 33-23 by the end of the first quarter. 
Yi dominated the paint in the second quarter as Guangdong maintained the advantage well and led 64-53 before the half-time break.
Yi scored four points to kick off the third quarter and inspired Guangdong's 9-2 run. The home team gained enough advantage to kill the game short.
Xinjiang recovered from a sluggish first quarter being 31-17 down to edge Zhejiang 101-97. Darius Adams earned the game-high 42 points, together with 8 rebounds and 7 assists. 
Abudushalamu Abudurexiti grabbed 14 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Denmon and Andrew Tyler Hansbrough combined for 54 points for the visitors.

Guangsha had to host Tongxi without star player Ioannis Bourousis, who was suspended for being ejected in his last match against Shanghai. But with six players scoring double-digit, Guangsha managed to seal the victory 116-95, whereas Tongxi suffered three consecutive losses. Courtney Fortson notched an usual double-double as he registered 21 points and 20 assists.
Jiangsu defeated Fujian 118-108. Six Jiangsu players scored double figure, with Miroslav Radulica in particular, who grabbed the game-high 41 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. 
Fujian center Wang Zhelin was absent due to his failure in physical tests before the season started. Wang will not be allowed to play until the sixth round, according to previous announcement.
Elsewhere, Bayi lost to Shangdong 105-90, suffering three straight losses to tail at the league. Donatas Motiejunas shot the game-high 29 points for Shandong.
