The second summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) leader Kim Jong Un is expected to take place in Vietnam in late February, Bloomberg has reported citing people familiar with the plans.
The White House announced last Friday that Trump would meet Kim in late February, following a 90-minute meeting between Trump and Kim Yong Chol, vice chairman of the DPRK's ruling Korean Workers' Party Central Committee, in the Oval Office.
"Great meeting this week with top Reps," Trump tweeted on Sunday, adding "Looking forward to meeting with Chairman Kim at the end of February!"

According to Bloomberg, U.S. officials are planning for the meeting to be held in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi, but the coastal city of Da Nang and the southern metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City are also possible venues for the event.

Trump told reporters Saturday that the host country for the summit has already been chosen, without naming it.
"We've picked the country, but we'll be announcing it in the future," he said at the White House, adding that he had a "very good meeting" with Kim Yong Chol.
The forthcoming summit, if held as scheduled, will be the second face-to-face encounter between Trump and Kim Jong Un, following their first meeting in Singapore last June.
