Chinese President Xi Jinping visited an e-commerce industrial park in Yingde, south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday to better understand how the sector helps targeted poverty alleviation work.
In the afternoon, he arrived at Lianzhang Village to visit a public service station and a toy factory which were built for alleviating poverty and poverty-stricken family.
The president also held a conversation with local villagers.
"After ending poverty, we will go on to embark on the path to wealth, the path to modernization," he said.
Earlier in the day, Xi attended the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in Zhuhai City.
