CMEF has more than 30 subdivided industrial clusters, including artificial intelligence (AI), computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), operating room, molecular diagnosis, point-of-care testing (POCT), rehabilitation projects, rehabilitation assistive devices and medical ambulances.
Over 600 new products and technology applications were launched at the CMEF Spring 2019.
For example, GE Healthcare unveiled 21 new products and smart innovation solutions such as the latest APM Asset Cloud Manager, Cloud Electrocardio Solution, Cloud Image Solution and Cardio MR AI Solution, demonstrating its latest R&D achievements.
According to Dai Ying, chief innovation officer of GE Healthcare China, the Cloud Electrocardio Solution is an integrated digital electrocardio solution based on the cloud electrocardio framework.
It can create a regional electrocardiograph network between higher-level and primary hospitals to realize high-precision collection and integrated transmission of data, using big data and AI to facilitate analysis and diagnosis, and transmitting the diagnostic report from experts in the cloud electrocardio telemedicine center to the primary cloud electrocardio collection points. In this way, patients can enjoy the diagnostic service of top-tier hospitals no matter their location, a major step forward for medical accessibility in remote areas.
GE Healthcare also launched multiple imaging devices, including CardioGraphe, the world's first CT equipment for angiocarpy; SIGNA Architect 3.0 T, a high-end magnetic resonance equipped with original air coil and intelligent sense platform technology; INTERACT Angio-CT Suite, an integrated surgery image platform; and its latest CFDA-approved AW smart image workstation, equipped with VCAR deep learning software and Fast Stroke function.

The global healthcare system is undergoing a revolutionary shift to a more patient-centered orientation, marked by precision healthcare and individualized diagnosis and treatment.
According to Pamela Spence, the leader of EY Global Health Science and Wellness Industry, "the real game-changer in healthcare would be when you actually apply really specific understanding of an individual, and tailor some treatment pathways and medicines to that individual."
This trend meets local healthcare demands by enhancing clinical diagnosis ability and management efficiency, accelerating the smart transformation of China's healthcare service to realize the vision of "Healthy China 2030."
