Cockpit recorder from crashed Lion Air plane discovered

Indonesian officials said on Monday the cockpit voice recorder from Lion Air flight JT610, that crashed on October 29, 2018, has been found. All 189 people on board died when the aircraft fell into the sea shortly after take off. The recorder, which was found buried in eight meters of mud in waters about 30 meters deep, could be crucial in unfolding the reason behind the deadliest air crash of 2018.
