M4.3 earthquake hits Shimian in Ya'an, SW China's Sichuan

A 4.3-magnitude earthquake hit Shimian, Ya'an City in southwest China’s Sichuan Province at 4:46 p.m. BJT on Wednesday, and was followed by a second 4.3-magnitude quake only 29 seconds later, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter of the first earthquake was recorded at a depth of 11 kilometers, and the following one's epicenter was at a depth of 9 kilometers.
The tremors were felt in Sichuan's provincial capital Chengdu. There’s no immediate word on casualties or damages yet.
Ya'an City in southwest China suffered the pain of the May 12 Sichuan earthquake in 2008 with thousands killed and injured.
