New York Mayor Bill de Blasio on Thursday said he will seek the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, making him the 23rd prospective challenger to Donald Trump.
"Donald Trump must be stopped. I am Bill de Blasio and I am running for president because it's time we put the working people first," he said in a video announcing his candidacy.
De Blasio, 58, has been a frequent critic of the Trump administration's policies. He took office as New York mayor in 2014.
