India is one of the leading countries when it comes to green buildings, with more than 4,300 projects using green technology. But such sustainable projects only account for five percent of the market. With urbanization on the rise and taking into consideration the high levels of pollution, green real estate development has proven to be a necessity in the world’s second most populated country.
