Beijing Guoan continued their fearsome form in the Chinese Super League (CSL) as they snatched their 10th consecutive victory on Friday after a 2-1 triumph over Tianjin Tianhai.
The host broke the deadlock in the 38th minute as Yu Dabao thundered a volley into the back of the net to open the scoring. Li Ke doubled Guoan's lead in the 72nd minute, firing a low, line drive into the net from a Viera assist.
"Yu scored a decisive goal and it is not easy for a central defender to fire like that," Beijing Guoan coach Roger Schmidt said.
