Sudan: New anti-government rallies erupt in Khartoum

Thousands of demonstrators across Sudan have taken part in what appears to be the biggest series of rallies against President Omar al-Bashir since protests began in December. Online footage showed demonstrators marching toward the military's headquarters in the capital Khartoum to demand the army's support. The rallies quickly spiraled into calls for an end to Omar al-Bashir's three-decade rule.
