A man showed up at a bank in Shanghai recently with a bag containing over 1,000 banknote pieces that worth about 9,200 yuan (about 1,352 U.S. dollars). The man said his child found the cash and ripped them to pieces while he was in the kitchen, so he didn't notice until it was too late. The bank manager immediately designated several clerks to piece the broken banknotes together. After a day and a half, the clerks finished their hard task and restored all the torn banknotes.
