Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday encouraged students at an Italian high school to be cultural ambassadors between the two countries "in this new era". While President Xi is about to embark on his European tour on March 21, with his first stop being Italy, President Paolo M. Reale and eight students of Rome Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II, an Italian boarding school, wrote a letter to Xi, expressing their sincere anticipation of his arrival and willingness to engage in the work of China-Italy friendship.
