Fatal shooting in church parking lot in Houston leaves one dead

A woman was shot to death and another person got injured after a shooting took place in the parking lot of a Houston church on Thursday, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The shooting occurred outside Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, located about 30 kilometers northwest of downtown Houston.
The sheriff's office said in its posting that the "scene at the church is under control," while no suspected has been arrested.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
