The Kyrgyzstan Garden, which spans 1,050 square meters, is also known as "the pearl of the Silk Road." The large garden pavilion embraces both local characteristics and customs.
Li Jinfeng, designer of the Kyrgyzstan Garden, said the design concept symbolizes "horticulture is integrated into our lives and people enjoy nature's beauty in their everyday lives."
Kyrgyzstan was an essential node in China's ancient Silk Road and remains a crucial junction even in the new China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Visitors can learn more about the ancient Silk Road as well as the BRI while enjoying the mesmerizing beauty of the Kyrgyzstan pavilion.
The 162-day International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 will open in the Chinese capital of Beijing on April 29.
The Expo 2019 is expected to welcome more than 100 official exhibitors (including countries and international organizations), over 100 non-official exhibitors (domestic provinces, autonomous regions, direct-controlled municipalities of China, professional institutions both at home and abroad, enterprises and institutions) and more than 16 million visitors.
The exposition aims to enhance mutual communication and promote win-win development, making green the theme of life and horticulture the new carrier of creativity. Therefore, it will serve as a cultural feast under the themes of "A new horizon of world horticulture," and "A new model of ecological conservation."
