The 6th China-Eurasia Expo was held from Aug. 30 to Sep. 1 in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwest China. In 2017, 19 provinces and regions offered 2.37 billion US dollars worth in aid to the region, supporting anti-poverty work. Textile, electronic and agricultural processing enterprises were introduced to the region to create job opportunities and improve employment rates.
