Two earthquakes hit off Canada's west coast late Sunday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
A 6.6 magnitude quake hit 240 kilometers southwest of Port Hardy at 5:39 GMT on Monday. Its epicenter was recorded at a depth of 11 kilometers.
About 40 minutes after, a second quake occurred at 6:16 GMT at a depth of 21 kilometers.
No casualties have been reported yet.
