Six years after Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the Belt and Road Initiative, China has signed over 170 cooperation agreements with more than 120 countries, its trade volume with BRI partners has exceeded six trillion U.S. dollars and the AIIB, Silk Road Fund and Chinese-funded banks are contributing to the development of various projects.
