Neighboring Malawi, South Africa and Zimbabwe, this African destination is still relatively quiet and untouched.
About three times the size of Great Britain, Mozambique offers a varied landscape. Those who are keen to experience its natural wonders can travel to the south and explore the spectacular 2,500-kilometer-long coastline on the Indian Ocean facing Madagascar, which offers palm-fringed beaches, warm tropical waters and a number of idyllic islands from which you can enjoy all of the above in sweet isolation.
The country’s tourism sector is growing but still performing well below its potential.
Coming off virtually a zero base, the Mozambican economy has been among the fastest growing in the world. As China’s second largest import partner in Africa, the bilateral trade between these two countries has reached 1.83 billion US dollars this year with a 2.6 percent growth year-on-year.
