Aerial photos taken on Nov. 19, 2018 shows beautiful views of the Great Barrier Reef, located off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef system in the world, with over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands.
The Great Barrier Reef is an outstanding and significant habitat of many endangered species including the dugong (sea cow) and large green sea turtle. The entire ecosystem was inscribed as a World Heritage site in 1981 by UNESCO.
