Monaco's head of state to visit China on Sept. 5-8

At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prince Albert II, the head of state of Monaco, will pay a state visit to China from September 5 to 8, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang announced on Thursday.

China and Monaco established consular relations in January 1995 and upgraded their diplomatic ties to the ambassadorial level in February 2006.
