Australian screenwriter Stuart Beattie has seemingly confirmed that superstar Johnny Depp will no longer be in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise as "Captain Jack Sparrow."
Beattie, who's the original Pirates of the Caribbean screenwriter, in an interview with DailyMailTV revealed that Johnny Depp wouldn't appear in the popular series as Disney Studios plans a major reboot.

"I think he's had a great run. Obviously, he's made that character his own and it's become the character he's most famous for now," said Beattie.
"I think Jack Sparrow will be his legacy. It's the only character he's played five times; it's the character he dresses up in to visit children in hospitals; it's what he'll be remembered for."
Reportedly, Johnny Depp was very difficult to work with on the sets of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," the fifth film of the series.
There were multiple reports on how the 55-year-old actor prolonged the film's shooting and delayed its production.
Released in 2017, the film turned out to be the lowest-grossing film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
However, it is quite shocking for fans to see their loved "Captain Jack Sparrow" to go in such a way.
Many fans took to the social media claiming that Johnny Depp is irreplaceable.
