Five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo of Serie A's Juventus, turned 34 on Tuesday and received "happy birthday" wishes from former clubs, teammates and others.
Ronaldo posted a picture of him sitting together with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and his eldest son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, looking at a birthday cake in front of them. Ronaldo wrote: "34 years, the world is filled with love…" He also posted a video of him and his one-year-old son Mateo Ronaldo playing soccer together.

Juventus sent wishes to the club's No.1 player via multiple posts on Twitter including "Happy 34th birthday today to the one and only, Cristiano! " and multiple highlight collections of CR7's career with the Italian club.
As Ronaldo's former employers, Premier League's Manchester United and Primeira Liga's Sporting CP also sent their wishes for their former colleague. "Best wishes to former #MUFC star Cristiano on his birthday! Have a great day! " wrote United on Twitter. "Though you left when you were 18, We never stopped being proud of you. Congratulations to legend of Lisbon and legend of Portugal Cristiano!" tweeted Sporting CP.

The UEFA Champions League listed the honors CR7 has achieved: " Cristiano Ronaldo = UCL legend. Most final wins in history: 5 All-time competition top scorer: 121; Most goals in a single season: 17; Only player to score in 3 finals; Only player to score in 11 straight games."
Players also joined the wishing team. Kaka, Ronaldo's former teammate in La Liga's Real Madrid, posted: "Congratulations my brother. Best wishes for you as always. God bless you!" One of CR7's best friends, Marcelo also posted a picture of the two celebrating a goal together. Pele, the greatest soccer player in history, sent his wishes to Ronaldo, too.

Ironically, Real Madrid, where CR7 spent his best years, sent no greetings. Some may find that unacceptable considering that Ronaldo is the club's all-time top goalscorer (451 goals), top goalscorer in La Liga (311 goals), top goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League (105 goals) and helped Real Madrid win 15 trophies including two La Liga championships and four UEFA Champions League titles.
However, it's also no surprise Real Madrid was not among the well-wishers considering that the club has removed Ronaldo's pictures from most parts of their website.
