M6.0 quake hits waters off Hualien, Taiwan

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters off Taiwan's Hualien County around 12:34 p.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. 
The quake struck at a depth of 30 kilometers. 
There have been reports that the quake was felt strongly in Taipei. 
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the quake.
