The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) staged a military parade to celebrate its 70th founding anniversary on Sunday in Pyongyang.
Li Zhanshu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, attended the celebrations, leading a Chinese delegation.

Several thousand people were in attendance, including government and party officials and foreign dignitaries.
