The opening ceremony of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations will take place on Wednesday in Beijing.
Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver a keynote speech at the ceremony.
Representatives from 47 Asian and other invited nations will participate in the event, whose theme is "Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Asian Civilizations and a Community with a Shared Future.”
The conference includes thematic forums, an Asian culture carnival and Asian Civilization Week.
