Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Europe later this month in another signal that the continent remains a priority on China's political agenda, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday.
Wang made the remarks at a press conference in Beijing on the sidelines of the second session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC).
Both China and the EU are firm supporters of multilateralism, Wang pointed out, stressing that they should make joint efforts to safeguard global peace and stability.
