In yet another episode of “By the Hand of the Ten,” Argentine football legend Diego Armando Maradona spoke about his incredible journey in international football.
The legendary footballer was the captain of the Argentina team that went on to win the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.
After Brazil legend Pele, Maradona made the jersey number 10 popular worldwide and is often regarded as the best footballer in the history of the game alongside the Brazilian icon.
Although under his coaching the Albiceleste didn’t achieve much success and had a disastrous campaign in 2010 World Cup, Maradona has still been one of the guiding forces behind his country’s football.
He was present in the gallery and rooting for his side in Argentina’s every game in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia, and has been the most popular Argentine apart from Lionel Messi.
His daily analysis on the show has been extremely popular throughout the tournament and his predictions have often come true.
He has already dubbed France as the potential winner of this World Cup. In his latest show, he has also spoke at length about European supremacy in world football and how Latin American powerhouses failed to make it to the final four.
