Dajiu Lake in central China’s Shennongjia Forestry District is proud of its wetland resources. Since 2013, more than 400 local households have been relocated outside the wetland to reduce human activity in the protected zone. Meanwhile, the local government has encouraged startups to help boost the tourism industry.
