The Asian cultural parade and Asian food festival officially began on Thursday, as part of the auxiliary events of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations (CDAC). An hour-long costume parade will be held every morning and afternoon in Beijing Olympic Park from May 16 to 22. The Asian Cuisine Festival will also last till May 22. People can visit eight exhibitions that feature the cuisines of different Asian countries.
