Local residents in Zhengding County, an ancient town in north China's Hebei Province, have celebrated the upcoming Chinese New Year with the world’s largest Spring Festival couplet, or Chunlian, in Chinese. Residents filled each character on the couplets with “Fu,” which means blessing and good luck. Pasting couplets is an important custom for Chinese people to express wishes for a better life in the coming new year.
