China and Panama have strengthened ties since establishing diplomatic relations almost a year ago.
During a recent visit to China, Panama’s first lady, Lorena Castillo de Varela, expressed her hope for further collaboration with China in areas including HIV/AIDS prevention and stamping out discrimination against people with the disease.
