China's Chengdu holds the award ceremony of the 6th Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Prizes. The awards honor radio and television stations, personalities and programs that exemplify innovation and excellence in broadcasting and commitment to community.
There are 16 winners and 14 commended entries from 16 countries awarded ABU prizes, among which “2020: China, US & Me” from China Radio International (CRI) won the Interactive Program prize; “Marquis of Haihun”, “Rooted” from China National Radio (CNR) were awarded Innovative Program and ABU Perspective Awards. South Korea became the biggest winner with 3 TV winners, 2 TV commended entries and 1 radio commended entry.
