Chinese Premier Li Keqiang leaves Beijing for visits to Indonesia and Japan

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang left Beijing on Sunday for official visits to Indonesia and Japan, and the seventh China-Japan-Republic of Korea (ROK) leaders’ meeting in Japan from May 6 to 11.
During his visit in Indonesia, Li will meet with Indonesian President Joko Widodo, visit the ASEAN Secretariat in Indonesia and attend an event in honor of the 15th anniversary of the China-ASEAN strategic partnership, according to China's Vice Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou.

Li is scheduled to brief the press together with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and ROK President Moon Jae-in after the leaders’ meeting in Japan. The Chinese premier will address a business leaders' meeting of the three countries.
In Japan, Li will hold talks with Abe, meet Emperor Akihito, and deliver a speech at a major event marking the 40th anniversary of the signing of the China-Japan Treaty of Peace and Friendship.
