Feng Yuqiong is a teacher at Mr Academy in a remote county of Lianghe in China's Yunnan Province. The non-profit organization was founded by a Chinese artist in 2016 to help left-behind children embrace art and set their minds free. Many of Feng’s peers at college moved to other cities but she chose a different path. “Although we were born small and weak, we march ahead with courage toward a goal, which itself is powerful and beautiful,” she said.
