Paris Saint-Germain suffered an agonizing 5-0 loss at all-conquering Lyon in France's women's football league on Saturday.
With two matches remaining, PSG sit three points behind Lyon, also facing a 34-goal gap in goal difference to the bridge.
Chinese forward Wang Shuang, who just came back from playing for her national side at a four-nation invitational, was left on the PSG bench, before making her way at the start of the second half.
PSG were already three goals down then. The inaugural Women's Ballon d'Or winner Ada Hegerberg nodded Lyon in front after eight minutes. Eugenie Le Sommer found the net in the 40th minute. Lyon's captain Wendie Renard reached the 100-goal milestone for her club with a penalty just before the break.
Dzsenifer Maroszan and Shannice Van de Sanden added to the league dominators' scoring account in the second half.
The highly-anticipated clash at the Groupama Stadium attracted 25,907 spectators, a new record for a French women's club match.
Lyon were well on track to their 13th straight domestic league crown. The five-goal rout undoubtedly offered them a mental boost ahead of their Champions League semifinal clash with Chelsea next weekend.
PSG will take on Bordeaux in the penultimate round of French league on April 24.
