A 4.5-magnitude earthquake hit Shigatse City in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region at 9:49 a.m. local time on Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter of the earthquake was recorded at a depth of six kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of damages or casualties.
