Construction of the northern section of the eastern route of the China-Russia natural gas pipeline is 83-percent complete. The northern section is expected to meet the technical standards for operation by October 2019. Connecting Heihe City of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province and Changling County of northeast China's Jilin Province, the northern part is 715 kilometers in length.
