'The Different Perspective': Episode 2

The episode two of "The Different Perspective" is Sports Scene’s special program which looks at the Russia World Cup. Mike Fox sat down with Mcswain Bertrand, who is a German football journalist, and EI China Cultural Communicator Dong Jun to discuss and analyze the German national team.
The title holders Germany get going in Group F against Mexico at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow tonight at 11 p.m. Beijing time.

The World Cup holders was drawing friendlies against England, France and Spain, Joachim Loew’s team lost 1-0 to Brazil to end a 22-game unbeaten run. Although Germany haven’t won any matches since qualifying for Russia, Mcswain Bertrand thinks that the quality of the football team can affect the competition, and Germany is still competitive.
To talk about the new faces in the team, Dong Jun said the German Squad knows how to win. The experienced players will help carry the team deep into the tournament, and new talents might just surprise everyone.
Meanwhile, Mcswain Bertrand said the forward might be one of the weaknesses for Germany, Timo Werner and Mario Gomez could play as a forward for Germany.
