Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Rwanda from July 22 to 23. It is Xi's first visit to the east-central African country and the first visit to the mountainous land by a Chinese president. China and Rwanda established diplomatic relations in 1971. Since then, China has become Rwanda's biggest trade partner and project contractor.
