A set of Siberian tiger quadruplets celebrated their one-month birthday at the Hengdaohezi Feline Breeding Center, the world's largest Siberian tiger breeding center in northeast China.
Their seven-year-old mother had given birth to a set of triplets the year before. During her pregnancy, breeders at the center fed the tiger 20 eggs and half a kilogram of ewes' milk every day.
Now, the breeders supplement the tiger mother's milk with ewes' milk to ensure the four newborns take in enough nutrients and calories. The center monitors the cubs around the clock, and breeders measure each one's weight daily, to follow their growth.
