Autonomous cars were tested at the headquarters of the organizing committee for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The cars can drive along the designed route, analyze road conditions and make the proper responses. Some driverless cars can be used to clean roads; others can be roaming vending machines. There are also patrol cars that can recognize faces, confirm identities, sense emergencies and call the police accordingly. By 2025, the area will have more than 1,000 self-driving cars.
