This year, two of the biggest trends emerging from the European elections are: the rise of the far-right and the dawn of a Green wave. The provisional results show a considerable loss for the two main political groups, the center-right European People's Party and the center-left Socialists and Democrats. Both blocs have lost over 40 seats each since the last election and they're expected to lose majority in the parliament.
